Vinny Cahill is a professor at Trinity College Dublin where he serves as Head of the Department of Computer Science and Director of Research for Computer Science and Statistics.

Prof. Cahill previously served as Head of the Distributed Systems Group, Director of Teaching and Learning (Postgraduate) for Computer Science and Statistics, and Course Director for the M.Sc. in Computer Science (Networks and Distributed Systems) and the M.Sc. in Computer Science (Ubiquitous Computing)
